What if… there was a STONELESS avocado? An avocado that didn’t need that pesky stone removing. We think we have the answer to the problem you didn’t know you had. We’re calling this a ‘cocktail avocado’ and it’s available through The Avocado Company in December only.

Grown by the amazing folk at Trops in the Spanish sunshine, these avocados are formed by an unpollinated avocado blossom. The fruit develops without a seed.
The growth reaches a certain point, then stops; it leaves us with a small, stoneless fruit. We hate waste and these looked fun, so we’re unleashing them into the market for December.
These avocados are from the rich and creamy Fuerte variety, with a buttery flavour. Much smaller, and straighter than a typical avocado shape, they could easily be confused with a mini cucumber. But they clearly taste MUCH better.
We like to cut them in half lengthways and scoop the flesh out with a teaspoon but as this year’s shipment only arrived this week we’ll be experimenting as they ripen up over the coming days.
